Salary: £40,000 with OTE £55,000

My client is looking for an Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer. You will be working alongside a Mechanical Engineer as part of a two-person team delivering installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping equipment across the UK. The role will primarily cover Thetford; however, candidates must be flexible and willing to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping systems
  • Provide electrical support to a Mechanical Engineer on-site
  • Attend sites across the UK, primarily Wales & Southwest
  • Complete site reports and documentation accurately
  • Support breakdown and after sales service activities when required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with procedures
  • Maintain tools, materials, and equipment readiness
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams

Skills & Experience:

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (17th or 18th Edition / BS 7671)
  • Experience in a similar electrical or maintenance role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home
  • 2391 Test and Inspection
  • Experience working with pumps or motors
  • Confined Space training
