Our client is looking for a skilled Controls and Automation Engineer to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation and control systems to optimise operational efficiency, ensure safety, and support business objectives. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can integrate electrical, mechanical, and software systems to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI and robotic systems.
- Develop and program automation solutions to improve production efficiency and safety.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for new and existing equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and integration of new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

Skills and Experience:
