Service Engineer - Industrial Weighing
Location: North West England
Salary: £32,000-£34,000 DOE + bonus and overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business specialising in industrial weighing, process measurement and automation systems.
The role:
- Service, repair and install industrial weighing equipment
- Complete calibrations, commissioning and preventative maintenance
- Respond to customer breakdowns
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical and IT-related faults
- Manage your own field-service schedule across the North West
Requirements:
- Previous experience servicing industrial weighing equipment is essential
- Electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or IT-based engineering background
- Customer-facing field-service experience
- Full UK driving licence
Working pattern and package:
- £32,000-£34,000 basic salary
- Door-to-door pay
- Monthly turnover-linked bonus. Approximately £1,500 paid last year
- Early starts are common, but engineers rarely finish after 4:30 pm
- Additional hours can be claimed as overtime or taken back as time off
- Occasional Saturday overtime at time and a half, plus a £30 payment before leaving home
- Fully tooled company van with fuel provided
- Company phone and iPad
- Paid training
- Hotels paid for when required, plus a £50 overnight bonus and £35 food allowance
- Approximately five overnight stays per year
- 20 bookable holiday days
- Four additional Christmas closure days, including Christmas Eve
- One additional birthday holiday
- All bank holidays
- Christmas cash bonus and voucher are usually awarded
