The Role
  • PCB assembly including through-hole and surface mount components
  • Cable assembly, crimping, looming, and wiring
  • Hand soldering to IPC / J-STD standards
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and build documentation
  • PCB coating, potting, and inspection activities
  • Carrying out quality checks and self-inspection of completed work
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams to meet delivery targets
Requirements
  • Previous PCB and cable assembly experience
  • Confident soldering skills within an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and assembly instructions
  • Experience working to IPC or J-STD standards desirable
