Location: Field Based
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Our client is looking for a CNC Service Engineer to join their field service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing CNC machines ensuring high standards of performance and reliability for their customers. This is a customer facing role requiring strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance of CNC machines in accordance with internal servicing standards
- Visit customer sites to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on CNC machinery
- Provide timely and professional technical support to minimise machine downtime
- Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and customers
- Support continuous improvement of service processes and customer satisfaction
- Work both independently in the field and collaboratively with internal engineering teams
Skills and experience:
- Skilled Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Disciplined Engineer
- Strong experience working with CNC machine tools or similar industrial equipment
- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence required
