We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a growing engineering business within the compressed air sector, covering the West Yorkshire region. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with previous compressor or compressed air industry experience to manage existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities across manufacturing and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an established customer base across the West Yorkshire region
  • Develop new business opportunities within industrial and manufacturing sectors
  • Sell compressed air solutions including compressors, air treatment equipment, and associated services
  • Conduct customer site visits, technical consultations, and solution presentations
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage the full sales cycle
  • Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver high levels of customer support
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets through consultative, relationship-led selling

Requirements

  • Essential experience within compressors or the compressed air industry
  • Proven field sales or area sales management experience
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage both new business and existing accounts
  • Full UK driving licence
