A well-established critical power specialist is looking to add a UPS Engineer to its field service team. This is a hands-on role covering installation, commissioning, service, maintenance, and fault finding on UPS systems and associated critical power equipment across customer sites.
The Role
- Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, controls, and associated electrical equipment
- Carry out installations and commissioning of UPS and battery systems
- Perform load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, and investigations
- Provide breakdown response and technical support to customers
- Complete service reports, test documentation, and risk assessments accurately and on time
- Participate in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work
- Liaise with internal teams and identify additional service or upgrade opportunities
Requirements
- Experience working with UPS and critical power systems
- Strong electrical fault-finding and commissioning capability
