We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a growing engineering business within the compressed air sector, covering the West Yorkshire region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with previous compressor or compressed air industry experience to manage existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities across manufacturing and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an established customer base across the West Yorkshire region
- Develop new business opportunities within industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Sell compressed air solutions including compressors, air treatment equipment, and associated services
- Conduct customer site visits, technical consultations, and solution presentations
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage the full sales cycle
- Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver high levels of customer support
- Achieve sales and revenue targets through consultative, relationship-led selling
- Essential experience within compressors or the compressed air industry
- Proven field sales or area sales management experience
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage both new business and existing accounts
- Full UK driving licence
