Glasshouse Grower Are you currently working in a fresh produce growing environment? Do you have an understanding of crop irrigation and fertigation? I am seeking enthusiastic Glasshouse Growers for a leading soft fruits producer on the south coast. Supplying to major retailers nationwide, you will be passionate about delivering high quality crops all year round. The role: Management of daily Irrigation & Fertigation strategies Management of the growing environment including temperature, humidity & Co2 control Regular crop walking highlighting crop management work & recording any Pest & Disease issues Biological control monitoring, ordering process & tracking Assist in creating spray plans and schedules ensuring crops are being sprayed at the correct time and in the correct way General maintenance of operating systems & infrastructureYou: Growing experience in a commercial Glasshouse environment Will be confident to make day to day decisions Enthusiastic approach to work duties Be flexible with regards to working hoursPackage: salary £37-41k doe 25 days holiday plus bank holidays company mobile phone 5% pension contribution post probation benefits inc: private medical insurance, life assurance, eye test and glasses contributions.WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
