Field Service Engineer – Checkweighers – £40,000-£45,000 (DOE) + Benefits – UK wide A leading manufacturer of checkweighers and x-ray machinery is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their growing team. The role is field based and will serve contracts across the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience within both mechanical and electrical engineering and will have experience of commissioning and calibration. The Package: Salary – £40,000-£45,000 (DOE) On call rota – 1 week in 6 – Paid for 20 additional hours Company vehicle – Car or van Tools, safety equipment, phone and laptop Necessary training and support Flexible benefits scheme 22 days paid holiday Incentive / bonus scheme – circa £4,000 Responsibilities: Reporting to the UK Service Manager Responsible for ensuring that customers receive the level of service they have come to expect from a premium brand. Capable of working alone or in a team to commission, calibrate or repair the full range of our equipment. Qualifications: Experience of inspection machinery, e.g. checkweighers, x-ray and metal detection. Knowledge of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
