An experienced sales engineer is required to join an innovation-led engineering solutions provider, primarily in the areas of electro-pneumatic, pneumatic valves, sensors and controls for manufacturing and production machinery automation applications within most manufacturing environments.

Sectors include food and beverage, automotive, aerospace, process and industrial, FMCG, and pharma. This is a proactive sales position involving generating new business opportunities and selling solutions to engineering managers, rather than selling boxed products on price.

  • Field sales experience and new business expertise

The Role:

  • Selling engineering solutions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and reduce maintenance.
  • Booking own appointments with Engineering Managers, MDs, and Procurement Managers.
  • Account management and self-generated new business sales, following up enquiries.
  • Selling to existing and new customers throughout the territory.
  • Supporting existing customer base.
  • Identifying opportunities for new solutions and working with the engineering team and suppliers to develop these.
