My client specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of efficient power distribution systems and is seeking an LV Switchgear Test Engineer to join their established team of 25 engineers. This role is a progressive opportunity for the right person, offering training and development in machining, and other areas of the installation and testing process.

The Package:
- Salary: £29,000-£34,000 (DOE)
- Working Hours: Mon to Fri - 08:00 to 16:30
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role:
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke LV switchgear and control panels from engineering drawings.
- Assemble panel frameworks.
- Install electrical components.
- Assist with panel wiring and mechanical assembly.
- Attend customer sites as part of the installation team.
- Carry out continuity testing on installed switchgear to verify connections and identify any faults.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification is required.
- Must be able to read circuit diagrams.
- A valid CSCS or ECS card would be beneficial.
- Must have a valid UK driving license, as the role involves potential travel to customer sites.
- Previous experience of testing panels would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience with LV switchgear is ideal.
