A role has arisen for an experienced and multi-skilled CNC Service Engineer who no longer wants to travel. This role is based in the factory of a large CNC machinery and robot automation supplier. You will also be trained on automated robot cells.
The role requires an experienced multiskilled CNC Service Engineer (or multiskilled CNC maintenance engineer) working on brand new CNC machines with no travel and no staying away, working 38 hours a week.
The role involves:
- Installing, testing and running up new CNC machines and robot automation solutions before being dismantled and shipped to the customer.
- Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work.
- Running up the machines, configuring programs.
- Carrying out test procedures and documenting findings.
- Writing SOPs.
Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm.

Requirements:
- Modern Apprenticeship level 3 engineering - essential
