CNC Service Engineer
A role has arisen for an experienced and multi-skilled CNC Service Engineer who no longer wants to travel.
This role is based in the factory of a large CNC machinery and robot automation supplier. You will also be trained on automated robot cells.
The role requires an experienced multiskilled CNC Service Engineer (or multiskiled CNC maintenance engineer)

- Working on brand new CNC machines
- No travel
- No staying away
- 38 hours week
The role involves installing, testing and running up new CNC machines and robot automation solutions before being dismantled and shipped to the customer.
Package
- To £45K
- 25 days holiday

The Role
- Install and run up CNC machines and robots in factory and showroom
- Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
- Run up the machines, configure programs
- Carry out test procedures and document findings
- Write SOPs
- Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm
Requirements
- Modern Apprenticeship level 3 engineering – essential
- Electrical knowledge essential
- Fault finding, reading engineering drawings
- Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain – essential
- You will likely CNC service engineer, or CNC maintenance engineer at a manufacturer with lots of CNC machines.
- Live locally already.
