The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call-Out Engineer to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking to work with a well-established company that values technical expertise, customer service, and employee development. You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, fault finding, repairs, and emergency call-outs across a varied portfolio of lift equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on a range of lift systems.
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and customer call-outs.
- Complete all service documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current safety regulations and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery.
- Participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience servicing and fault-finding on passenger, goods, and platform lifts.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Good understanding of current lift industry regulations and standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
