Our client is looking for a Product Quality Assurance Co-ordinator who will work closely with multiple departments to ensure product quality, stock accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the supply chain.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage stock control processes to minimise waste and maximise customer satisfaction.
- Allocate stock to customer orders based on availability, quality, and priority.
- Coordinate stock distribution with production, warehouse, and labelling teams.
- Conduct inspections and quality assessments of incoming raw materials.
- Monitor product appearance, packaging, labelling accuracy, and weights.
- Investigate quality concerns and support corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintain accurate quality assurance and stock records.
- Verify compliance with customer specifications, food safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Support product sampling, shelf-life management, and quality reporting activities.
- Carry out routine verification checks on equipment and processes.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the fresh produce or food manufacturing sector.
- Food Safety Level 2 certification.
- Good knowledge of food safety, quality, and retail standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
