The Role
We are recruiting an Account Manager for an established electronics manufacturing environment. This position is focused on managing and developing customer relationships while supporting the delivery of technically complex manufacturing projects. You will act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring their requirements are understood and aligned with internal manufacturing capabilities. The role involves account management, project coordination, and identification of growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer relationships and expectations through clear, professional communication
- Coordinating the transfer and implementation of new projects from development to production
- Working closely with customer purchasing, engineering, and design teams
- Identifying and developing new opportunities within existing accounts
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Processing sales orders and supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
The Candidate
You will have experience in a customer-facing account management or technical sales role, ideally within an engineering or outsourced manufacturing environment.

- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Confidence presenting to customers and internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Calm, methodical approach under pressure
- Analytical problem-solving capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems (desirable)
- Working knowledge of automated SMT PCB assembly (desirable)
