An established global manufacturer of industrial coding, marking and product identification equipment is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the North of England. This is a home-based field role working on electromechanical equipment within manufacturing and production environments, covering installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and breakdown support.
The Role
- Service, maintain and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment at customer sites
- Install and commission new machinery and systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Manage breakdowns through from diagnosis to resolution
- Provide technical support and build strong customer relationships
- Support equipment trials and demonstrations where required
- Travel across the North of England, with occasional overnight stays
Requirements
- Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer background
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on industrial, manufacturing or production equipment
- Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing field role
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with coding, marking, printing, labelling or laser systems
