An established engineering business is looking for a Service Engineer to join its growing team, covering customer sites across the Midlands and surrounding areas. This role would suit an engineer with experience servicing or repairing cleaning equipment, pressure washers, industrial floor care equipment, forklifts, plant, or similar mechanical/electrical equipment.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the service, repair, maintenance and fault finding of commercial and industrial cleaning equipment, including pressure washers and floor care machinery.
- You will work independently in the field, completing jobs from start to finish while maintaining strong customer service standards.
- Full training will be provided, including support from experienced engineers and future manufacturer-led training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs on customer sites
- Work independently across a local field-based patch
- Complete service reports and communicate clearly with customers
- Represent the business professionally while delivering high standards of work
Requirements:
- Mechanical and electrical service/repair experience
- Background in cleaning equipment, forklifts, plant, or similar equipment advantageous
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be based within the Midlands
