Area Sales Manager – South UK & International\\n\\nI am working with a leading manufacturer in the Oil, Gas and Hydrogen industries in the search for an experienced Area Sales Manager to help drive growth of valve sales. This role is highly customer-focused across the South of England and strategic customers in Europe.\\n\\nRole Overview\\n\\nYou will be responsible for influencing client specifications, generating profitable orders, and developing strong relationships with end-users, contractors, and OEMs. You will also support valve product development through market insights and help target new opportunities and key projects.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nBuild and manage relationships with key clients, dealers, consultants, and end users.\\n\\nIdentify new business opportunities and pursue major project leads.\\n\\nInfluence specifications and secure profitable orders.\\n\\nCollaborate with internal teams to achieve revenue and margin targets.\\n\\nDevelop commercial and technical strategies for tenders.\\n\\nRepresent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and client meetings.\\n\\nProvide market insights and support marketing activities.\\n\\nSkills & Experience\\n\\nMinimum 5 years' sales experience in a relevant industry and product knowledge; valves\\n\\nExcellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational abilities.\\n\\nProactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.\\n\\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently.\\n\\nEngineering degree preferred but not essential\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nCompetitive Salary\\nCompany Bonus\\nOpportunity to work with a reputable, growing business.WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
