A well-established platform lift specialist is looking to hire an experienced Lift Engineer to support continued growth across the South of England. This is a varied role offering a mix of installation and service/repair work (flexible depending on your background), working on disabled access and platform lifts across commercial and residential environments. You'll also work alongside an apprentice engineer, helping support their development on-site.
The Role
- Installation or servicing, maintenance, and repair of platform lifts
- Working across South / South East / London (with occasional travel as far as Birmingham)
- Supporting and mentoring an apprentice engineer on-site
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
- Representing the business professionally when dealing with clients
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
- Proven experience in either installation or service/repair/maintenance of Platform lifts (Essential)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ideally based within Hampshire/Dorset/Berkshire/Wiltshire
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
- Paid door-to-door
- 40-hour week (Monday to Friday)
