WPS are looking for a proactive and commercially astute Project Surveyor to join our team based out of our Wolverhampton office, supporting the delivery of planned works across our social housing contracts.

About The Role

As a Project Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial and financial delivery of multiple planned works projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget and to the highest standards. You'll work closely with operational teams, stakeholders, and clients to manage costs, mitigate risks, and drive performance across a variety of workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial aspects of planned works projects from inception to completion
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably
  • Cost control, forecasting and reporting across multiple workstreams
  • Procure and manage subcontractors in line with company processes
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients and supply chain partners

About You

We're looking for someone who is confident, collaborative and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience as a Project Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor within social housing planned works
  • Strong knowledge of commercial processes and cost management
  • Experience working across similar workstreams (K&B, roofing, voids, etc.)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
