Plumber (11643) – Winchester Basepoint
WPS has an exciting opportunity for a qualified plumber to join our Responsive Maintenance Team based from our Winchester Basepoint office. Working across a social housing contract, you’ll be carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance in residents’ homes, ensuring properties are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and installations.
- Complete minor maintenance and multi-trade works where required.
- Diagnose faults and deliver effective first-time fixes.
- Use a PDA/mobile device to receive, update, and complete work orders.
- Liaise with schedulers and managers regarding follow-on works and materials.
- Work alongside colleagues and subcontractors to deliver outstanding results.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent WPS professionally at all times.
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience within responsive maintenance, social housing, or a similar environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
