Wates Property Services (WPS) are seeking a skilled and motivated Roofer to join our Responsive Maintenance Team in Lambeth. Working from our Brixton office, you will help deliver high‑quality reactive repairs to our social housing residents.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out a range of roofing repair and renewal works to homes across Lambeth
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with the scheduler, residents, and your line manager
  • Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety and safeguarding standards
  • Stay updated with the latest technical and legal requirements in your trade
  • Work collaboratively with other operatives to complete multi‑trade repairs
  • Accurately complete digital job sheets and material logs via a PDA device

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or a similar related trade qualification
  • A genuine passion for roofing and willingness to continue learning
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
