Multi-Skilled Engineers (Electrical & Mechanical) to support the delivery of Facilities Management services across the prestigious JLL-managed Aviva portfolio in London.

We welcome applications from qualified engineers with either an electrical background (minimum NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition) or a mechanical background (Level 3 Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or HVAC qualification) .

Working across a varied commercial property portfolio, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose faults and repair electrical and mechanical building services systems.

• Maintain and service equipment including

  • HVAC systems
  • Pumps and motors
  • Lighting systems
  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Water systems and associated plant
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Complete work reports accurately using CAFM/mobile systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
  • Support the wider engineering team to ensure service delivery standards are consistently achieved.

About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Applicants must hold qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline:
  • Electrical Engineers
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance or a related electrical discipline.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • Inspection & Testing (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) desirable.
  • Mechanical Engineers
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related mechanical discipline.
  • HVAC qualification, certification or demonstrable HVAC maintenance experience.
  • For All Applicants
  • Proven experience within a Facilities Management, Building Services or Maintenance environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across building services systems.
  • Experience carrying out both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Good understanding of commercial building services.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • City & Guilds qualifications.
  • Experience working within prestigious corporate or commercial environments.
  • Knowledge of BMS systems and statutory compliance requirements.
