We're looking for a Management Accountant (Fixed Assets & Fleet) to join our FP&A team at WPS. This is a key role at the heart of Finance, supporting accurate reporting, strong financial control, and better insight across our fleet and asset base.

Why this role matters

You'll play a central part in ensuring our asset and fleet data is robust, well‑managed, and supports both statutory reporting and commercial decision‑making. Working closely with FP&A and the wider Finance team, you'll help turn numbers into meaningful insight and keep our reporting running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning and maintaining the Fixed Asset and Fleet registers
  • Supporting month‑end through posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing CAPEX tracking, forecasting, and depreciation
  • Maintaining lease registers and supporting compliance across assets and fleet
  • Producing and improving reporting to give clear, actionable financial insight
  • Working closely with FP&A, Commercial and Finance teams to resolve queries and explain variances
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and data quality

What we're looking for

  • Strong core accounting fundamentals and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Solid experience within a finance function
  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles (journals, accruals, P&L, balance sheet)
  • Ideally part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA)
  • Good Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to analyse data and spot trends
  • Clear and confident communicator, comfortable working across Finance and Commercial teams
  • Experience with fixed assets and/or fleet is highly desirable

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who takes pride in accuracy, stays organised during busy periods, and brings a positive, “can do” approach to the team.

What You'll Get In Return

  • A role with real visibility and impact across the business
  • The opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive FP&A environment
  • Exposure to wider Finance activities and career progression opportunities
  • A collaborative team that values improvement, ownership, and working together
