The Role Location: Enfield (Mobile Role)

WPS are looking for a skilled Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, covering Enfield and the surrounding North London area. This is a mobile role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of sites, ensuring all mechanical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on mechanical building services
  • Maintain, service, and repair systems including HVAC, heating, ventilation, pumps, and plant equipment
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
  • Complete accurate documentation and update CAFM systems
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders on-site
  • Support wider FM team where required

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a mechanical engineering or building services role
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial plant and mechanical systems
  • Experience in a mobile FM or maintenance environment
  • Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
