The Role
As Business Development Director, your focus will be on developing and maintaining strategic client relationships to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and commercial growth. You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients and a senior partner to our internal teams, ensuring services are aligned to client objectives and delivered consistently.
Responsibilities
- Building and nurturing long‐term relationships with key, high‐value clients
- Acting as the senior point of contact, with a deep understanding of client needs and business goals
- Identifying account growth opportunities through upselling and cross‐selling
- Overseeing the onboarding of new clients and leading engagement strategies that maximise satisfaction and loyalty
- Contributing to sector strategies and customer plans aligned to WPS priorities
- Acting as the voice of the client internally to influence solutions, innovation, and service improvement
- Monitoring performance, risks, and opportunities, providing regular updates and insights to senior leaders
