Your Role as our Technical Manager
- Lead, mentor, and support multi-disciplinary field teams and supervisors across maintenance, repairs, and planned works
- Ensure projects are delivered to time, budget and quality standards, meeting KPI and contractual obligations
- Drive high standards of safety, compliance and customer service across all works
- Monitor and manage budgets, stock, and resources to achieve value for money
- Conduct site visits, audits, toolbox talks, and inspections for quality and safety compliance
- Represent Liberty as a senior point of contact, ensuring seamless operational delivery
- Support the development and performance management of staff, with regular 1:1s and team briefings
- Work collaboratively with leadership teams on improvement projects and strategic objectives
- Deputise for senior leaders and take ownership of operational outcomes
What We Need From You
- ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
- Experience managing technical or multi-trade teams in a repairs/maintenance or social housing setting
- Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance, and commercial contract delivery
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Confident using IT systems such as QL, Open Contractor, DRS, Power BI or similar
- SMSTS or IOSH (desirable)
- Full UK driving license
- A proactive, flexible and solution-focused approach
