The Role Location: Enfield (Mobile Role)
WPS are looking for a skilled Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, covering Enfield and the surrounding North London area. This is a mobile role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of sites, ensuring all mechanical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on mechanical building services
- Maintain, service, and repair systems including HVAC, heating, ventilation, pumps, and plant equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Complete accurate documentation and update CAFM systems
- Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders on-site
- Support wider FM team where required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a mechanical engineering or building services role
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of commercial plant and mechanical systems
- Experience in a mobile FM or maintenance environment
- Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
