We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to oversee the delivery of damp, mould, and disrepair-related works across our housing stock in Croydon.

This role is ideal for someone with strong property maintenance knowledge and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality homes for our residents.

Your role will include

  • Taking ownership of damp, mould, and disrepair cases across a designated area in Croydon, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Supervising operatives and subcontractors, driving productivity, quality, and compliance across all remedial works.
  • Managing damp and mould investigations, remedial programmes, and associated repair works from diagnosis through to completion.
  • Carrying out post-inspections, quality audits, and validation checks to ensure works meet required standards.
  • Monitoring and enforcing health & safety compliance across all sites and activities.
  • Managing customer concerns and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved professionally and sensitively.
  • Liaising with residents, surveyors, planners, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Monitoring performance, managing workloads, and supporting continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all damp and mould cases are progressed in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What we’re looking for

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
  • Strong background in property maintenance, repairs, building pathology, or a relevant trade with a good understanding of damp and mould remediation.
  • NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade or construction discipline (desirable).
  • Proven experience supervising repairs, maintenance, damp & mould works, or disrepair projects within social housing or a similar environment.
  • Ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise multiple cases effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of damp, condensation, ventilation, and associated property defects.
  • Full UK driving licence.
