We are looking for a detail‑oriented Commercial Administrator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong commercial mindset to support key projects within social housing repairs and maintenance.
You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost management, smooth invoicing processes, and effective contract administration.
Key Responsibilities- NHF SOR Management: Apply correct NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes to repair, maintenance, and capital project works.
- Invoicing & Revenue: Convert completed works (WIP) into invoices promptly to maximise revenue recovery.
- System Administration: Maintain and update in‑house commercial and repairs systems accurately.
- Subcontractor Management: Review and process subcontractor invoices and applications for payment.
- Valuations & Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly valuation applications and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Variations Management: Identify, price, and submit variations and amendments to contract scope.
- Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets contractual requirements and company governance standards.
- Experience: Previous experience in commercial administration (ideally within social housing, repairs, or maintenance).
- IT Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Numerical & Analytical Skills: High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
- Communication: Confident liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
