We’re currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team, delivering planned maintenance works across social housing contracts in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of schemes and lead on the delivery of high-quality housing improvements within a well-established and growing team.

About the Role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of planned works programmes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in managing site operations, leading teams, and ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery across all phases of works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations across planned maintenance schemes
  • Programme and coordinate works to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Supervise operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers on site
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
  • Maintain quality control and ensure works meet required standards
  • Attend pre‑ and post‑inspections, providing technical input where required
  • Produce site progress reports and maintain accurate records
  • Support successful project completion and handover

About You

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Site Manager with a strong background in social housing planned works.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned maintenance
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and site management processes
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience across internal and external planned works (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, FRA, decarbonisation)
  • Strong IT and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership ability
