HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver Temp to Perm
Location: Southall
Pay Rates: £18.00per hourexc. Hol/ £20.17per hour inc. Hol (while with agency)

Hours: Monday – Friday role (07:00am – 16:30pm

Start Date: : Immediate start available, providing successful interview

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver for a Temp to Perm opportunity in Southall. This is an excellent chance to secure a long-term driving role with a well-established company in the building supplies and logistics sector.

• Delivering and collecting roofing materials with the assistants of a Hiab/crane.
• Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
• Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI\’s.
• Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
• Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Companys legislative and commercial obligations are met.
• Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.
• This is a Monday – Friday role (07:00am – 16:30pm)

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in driving HGVs.
• Experience in using Digital Tacho card.
• Crane/Hiab Knowledge would be of advantageous but not essential.
• Full drivers CPC is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
• You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
• Good communication both verbal and written.
• You will be expected to be both customer and company focused with a pro-active approach.
• Knowledge or experience of working in the Roofing sector would be advantageous, but not essential.

THIS IS A TEMP TO PERM POSITION – YOU WILL COMPLETE 13 WEEKS WITH THE AGENCY THEN TRANSFER FULL TIME.

Pay while with WPRG:

£18.00per hourexc. Hol/ £20.17per hour inc. Hol

Pay once full time permanent with the employer:
£36,250.00 p/a (additional pay below)

After 6 months
An extra £1000.00

Progression Tests
Up to £1200.00

Plus any Quarterly Branch Bonus

Full Time Information:

Annual Leave 20 days per year including 5 days at Christmas plus bank holidays

Annual leave year runs January 1st 31st December

Hours Full-Time, 44.5 hours per week
