WPRG Ltd are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a large steel distributor based in Thurrock, Essex. This is an ongoing role delivering steel products including sheet metal, rods, and girders on flatbed trailers. All deliveries and collections are handled by forklift or crane; no manual lifting required.
The Role
- Delivering 5-10 steel deliveries per day on flatbed trailers
- Working with professional steel distribution teams
Shift Pattern
- Monday - Friday
- Minimum 10.5 hours paid per shift
- Overtime paid after 10.5 hours
- Immediate starts available for regular ongoing shifts
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence (minimum 12 months)
- Digital Tachograph card
- Drug & alcohol testing required prior to starting
Pay
- Basic: £19.00 per hour / £21.29 per hour (includes holiday pay)
- Overtime (after 10.5 hours): £21.00 / £23.53 per hour (includes holiday pay)
