WPRG is recruiting for a HGV Driver Class 2 to work on an ongoing basis for its client based in Leyton, E10. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of baked goods in a Class 2 vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct multi-drop deliveries of baked goods in a Class 2 vehicle.
Qualifications / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Experience in HGV Class 2 multi-drop deliveries
- Maximum of 6 points on licence for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN/CD codes)
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive
- Willingness to work weekends; rota provided a week in advance
Working Hours
Start times are between 00:00 and 04:00, or nights; you must be flexible to start within these hours.
Pre-employment
Driving assessment including a theory test is required as part of the pre-employment process. Please only apply if you can work weekends.
Pay & Benefits
Pay rates: £17.37 per hour, 7 days a week (rate increase in near future). Holiday accrues on top at 13%. Breaks are paid on all shifts. Benefits: Onsite Parking, Workplace Pension, Ongoing training and development opportunities.
