WPRG LTD are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for a fantastic temp to perm opportunity based in Dagenham, Essex. This role involves delivering baked goods to stores and convenience retailers across the South East of England. Paid training is provided, making this a great opportunity for experienced drivers.

Working Pattern

  • Thursday to Monday
  • Friday to Monday
  • Weekend availability is essential.

Role Includes

  • Multi-drop deliveries of baked goods
  • Delivering to stores and third-party customer sites
  • Ensuring products are delivered safely and to the highest standard
  • Start times between 00:00am – 02:10am
  • Average 12-hour shifts
  • Some physical loading and unloading may be required

Pay Rates (For the first 12 weeks while on agency)

  • Option 1 – PAYE (Including Holiday Pay)
    • Weekdays: £19.95 per hour
    • Saturday: £22.53 per hour
    • Sunday: £23.81 per hour
    • Bank Holiday: £28.95 per hour
  • Option 2 – PAYE (Holiday Pay Accrued)
    • Weekdays: £17.81 per hour
    • Saturday: £20.11 per hour
    • Sunday: £21.25 per hour
    • Bank Holiday: £25.84 per hour

Successful candidates will complete a 12-week agency period before transferring onto a permanent contract with an annual salary of £41,335.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK Class 2 licence
  • Hold a valid CPC Card
  • Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have a valid UK Driving Licence
  • Be physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading when required
