Are you an experienced professional with a background in syndicate accounting, reporting, and Lloyd's regulations? We are seeking a knowledgeable Contract Syndicate Accounting & Reporting Manager to join a forward-thinking insurer based in London, with the option for hybrid working.
In this role, you will oversee the full ledger control process, contribute to financial reporting for syndicates (submitting Lloyd's regulatory returns) and support ongoing projects like IFRS 17 implementation. You will collaborate closely with various departments and manage a team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process improvements across the finance function.
- Significant experience within Lloyd's syndicate accounting and reporting environments
- Proven leadership skills in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of Lloyd's reporting requirements and regulatory submissions
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or demonstrable relevant experience
- Experience working with offshore or distributed teams
- Proficiency in accounting ledgers, reporting tools, and data analysis applications
