An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance professional to join a leading global insurance business as a Senior FP&A Analyst.

This role sits within a high-performing FP&A team and offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, performance analysis and business partnering, helping to drive strategic decision-making across underwriting and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, providing detailed variance analysis, KPI tracking and actionable insights.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes, including scenario modelling and financial projections.
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to underwriting and operational teams, supporting strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting capabilities and financial systems while mentoring junior analysts.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualified FP&A experience.
  • Previous experience within the insurance sector is essential.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior non-finance audiences.
