We are helping a leading client of our in the Specialty broking space to find a skilled Project Manager to lead on digital innovation projects and the development of online tools and platforms used by our trading teams. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management within the Lloyd’s market or general insurance industry and a passion for driving digital transformation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage cutting-edge projects that will shape the future of our Specialty business. You will lead cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and Manage Project Plans: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, to effectively communicate project objectives and specifications. • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables. • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate project meetings, manage stakeholder communications, and drive consensus to ensure alignment and manage expectations. • Risk Management: Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. • Oversee Project Execution: Coordinate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained. • Monitor Progress: Track project progress, identify potential issues or roadblocks, and propose solutions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Qualifications and Experience: • Essential: Proven experience as a Project Manager gained in the general insurance industry or Lloyd’s market. • Desirable: Experience in managing digital innovation projects or the development of business tools and platforms—specifically Quote and Bind tools. • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and drive successful outcomes. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
