My client is looking to secure an interim IBA Accountant to be responsible for IBA reporting for Insurers, Clients and Appointed Representatives, setting up IBA bank entries for authorisation by Finance Director and IBA system daily bank reconciliations. The role sits within the Finance Team and reports to the Finance Director. It plays a key part in delivering their commitment to high quality client service, operational efficiency, and controlled growth.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory Accountability
- Day to day matching of cash transitions on IBA System
- Insurer payable reports, checking to insurer statements and raising processing queries
- Appointed Representative payable reports and raising processing queries
- Matching and setting up payments in IBA system
- Daily IBA bank reconciliations in IBA system
- Setting up FX trades and onward payments
- Weekly reconciliations for FX system
- Assist with ad hoc finance and operational tasks as required
Background
- Previous experience in an IBA and Cashiering role
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with IBA/Bank/FX systems and spreadsheets
- Able to manage workload independently
Pay range and compensation package: Temporary role for an initial period of 6 Months. Expected to be immediately effective with minimal onboarding time. Flexibility required depending on business needs.
