Role Overview
The Solutions Planning, Account Executive is a foundational role within the Solutions Planning team, supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of integrated media solutions for key clients. Working closely with Account Managers and specialist Activation teams, this role ensures that client briefs are translated into clear, actionable plans and delivered with operational excellence. This role is ideal for a highly organised, curious, and proactive individual who wants to build a strong grounding in modern media planning, data‑led thinking, and servicing within a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Planning Support: Support Account Managers and Senior Account Managers in responding to client briefs, ensuring requirements are clearly captured and aligned across channels and specialist teams. Help coordinate integrated media solutions spanning performance, data, content, including Advanced TV, Video, Display, Audio, Advanced Digital OOH, and Cross‑Channel. Prepare planning documentation, timelines, and internal briefs to support seamless delivery.
- Campaign & Asset Management: Ownership of the Insertion Order (IO) booking setups and case tracking of campaigns across multiple solutions. Manage the collation and setup of creative assets and tags required for campaign activation. Coordinate with Activation teams to track campaign metric data and ensure accurate reporting. Support the creation of post‑campaign reports, identifying key insights and learnings.
- Financial & Commercial Administration: Support financial management including bookings, reconciliations, and budget tracking. Ensure accuracy across financial systems and documentation, flagging discrepancies early.
- Ways of Working: Maintain clear communication across internal teams and external partners. Proactively identify risks, issues, or opportunities and elevate appropriately. Embrace new tools, automation, and AI‑enabled systems that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Skills & Experience
- Core Skills: Organisation & Time Management: Able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines with confidence. Attention to Detail: Consistently delivers accurate, high‑quality work across planning, finance, and reporting. Communication & Collaboration: Clear, confident communicator, comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge & Experience: A foundational understanding of media planning and the modern advertising ecosystem, with interest in data, technology, and media. Previous experience in an agency, media, marketing, or account support role is advantageous but not essential.
- Technical Capability: Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; comfort learning new platforms and tools. Openness to using AI‑enabled tools for planning, analysis, and workflow optimisation.
