Role Summary and Impact
As a Paid Social Account Executive, you will rapidly develop your knowledge of paid advertising across key social channels, from activation to reporting. You will support the planning and delivery of campaigns, working as part of a team to ensure seamless execution and contribute to award-winning work. This role involves end-to-end campaign setup, monitoring performance, and assisting with reporting and analysis. You will develop platform expertise and contribute to best practices, with a focus on continuous learning and growth within a busy agency environment.
Reporting structure: reports to Paid Social Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Perform end-to-end set-up of paid social campaigns across relevant social platforms. Undertake regular Quality Assurance checks to ensure campaigns meet best practice standards. Monitor campaign performance and pacing, troubleshooting and optimising campaigns as necessary to improve performance. Produce detailed and accurate weekly/monthly campaign performance reports and performance commentary. Assist with more detailed analysis including end-of-campaign reporting, quarterly/annual reviews, and standalone projects.
- Client & Partner Support: Work closely with line manager and wider team to support high-quality client deliverables. Attend regular platform training sessions to develop paid social skills and partner relationships.
- Operational Excellence: Manage workload effectively and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of mandatory agency finance processes, working with line-manager to minimise finance queries. Contribute to a collaborative and friendly paid social community through internal meetings and training.
Skills and Experience
- Paid Social Aptitude: Passionate about paid social activation and driving excellence, eagerness to learn and develop expertise across key social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Pinterest). Training certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint) a plus.
- Foundational Skills: Diligent and attentive to detail, able to listen, learn new skills, and apply them quickly. Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills (including Excel).
- Analytical & Organisational: Comfortable handling data and numbers/budgets; able to manage time effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mindset: Collaborative, friendly, and with a can-do attitude. Proactive interest in digital advertising, keen to further knowledge in paid social.
