- Global Network & Operations Executive
- Role Purpose
The Global Network & Operations Executive plays a crucial supportive role in ensuring the seamless execution of global campaigns and operational excellence for our SONY Play Station client across WPP Media's extensive network.
Reporting directly to the Global Network & Operations Manager, this role is central to coordinating deliverables, monitoring compliance with global standards, and driving the adoption of strategic tools like WPP Open.
The Executive will be instrumental in identifying and supporting initiatives to improve media planning and execution practices, managing key communication platforms, and generating vital performance insights to showcase our global impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Global Campaign Coordination & Oversight Support
- Assist the Manager in project managing the process and delivery of local planning deliverables required by the Global Client Services team for global SONY Play Station campaigns.
- Support the communication of global campaign timelines and key project deliverables to local Essence Mediacom teams across the network.
- Monitor and report on local markets' adherence to globally set delivery schedules, helping to ensure timely submissions.
- Conduct initial checks on the quality and accuracy of local market work and data outputs, flagging issues for the Manager's attention and assisting in troubleshooting challenges.
- Strategic Operational Improvement Initiatives
- Support the Ops Director and Manager in research and analysis to identify and develop opportunities for improving how media planning and execution practices happen across local and global teams.
- Contribute to the implementation of new processes and tools aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the network.
- WPP Open Adoption & Best Practice Facilitation
- Actively work to ensure the local adoption and best practice utilization of WPP Open tools across the global network.
- Provide direct support and guidance to local market teams on WPP Open functionalities, helping to resolve queries and champion its benefits.
- Assist in monitoring adoption rates and identifying areas requiring additional support or training.
- Community Portal Development & Management
- Take primary responsibility for the development, establishment, and ongoing management of internal community portals to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst global teams.
- Curate, organize, and maintain up-to-date content, resources, and communication threads within these portals.
- Actively promote engagement and facilitate discussions to build a vibrant and useful community.
- Local EM Team Support
- Provide hands‑on support in the establishment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of local teams.
- Assist with onboarding new EM teams, ensuring they have access to necessary resources, tools, and information.
- Help address operational queries and troubleshoot minor issues for established EM teams, escalating complex matters to the Manager.
- Global Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and produce “Global Roll‑ups,” Post‑Campaign Analysis (PCAs), and other aggregated reports that demonstrate in‑market activations.
- Check global planning system for data accuracy and govern all local market planning inputs to ensure they are meeting global reporting deadlines.
Ensure that all plans are approved and reconciled accurately.
- Assist in troubleshooting data reporting issues and work closely with the Data Governance team to support local teams to resolve issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement & General Operations Support
- Build effective and credible working relationships with local teams and key internal stakeholders (e. g., Global Client Services).
- Support wider Network and Operations team duties such as sourcing information from markets, assisting with global financial reports, collecting service evaluation scores, and maintaining various trackers and dashboards.
- Assist the Manager in preparing for and contributing to internal meetings and calls, such as the Internal Monthly Network Forum or regional bi‑weekly calls.
- Your Skills and Experience
Experience
- 1‑3 years of experience in a fast‑paced media agency, marketing, or global operations environment, preferably with exposure to global client management or network coordination.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a global context with diverse cultures and languages.
- Experience with or a strong understanding of media planning, execution, and reporting systems (e. g., WPP Open, Campaign Manager, media buying platforms).
- Prior experience in content curation or managing online communities/portals is a plus.
