Role Summary and Impact OpenMind by WPP is an integrated agency model drawing on talent from across WPP. It has been created to accelerate the transformation of Nestlé's media function. Core to the solution is the advanced best data and technology capabilities, fueled by WPP’s investment in AI, to maximize the impact of Nestlé media investment. We are looking for an Account Manager to join the OpenMind Global team to work on CPW and Nestlé Health Science, with their time split evenly between both Nestlé divisions. The Global Account Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects and programs within the Global team scopes for each client. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day project activities, orchestrating complex solutions across multiple workstreams, and maintaining strong communication with both internal stakeholders (OpenMind Global and Regional teams and local markets) and clients. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual with a proven track record in project and program management, a passion for media and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns day-to-day project management, driving collaboration and progress across multiple workstreams.
  • Keeps clients and internal stakeholders updated on team status, drives mitigation of risks, and actively tracks/communicates dependencies.
  • Acts as an internal connector and facilitator to ensure complex solutions are orchestrated across workstreams.
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of the Nestlé client business.
  • Manages ad-hoc requests and enlists the necessary people to action them.
  • Assists the Global Business Director to deliver brilliant basics in account management, including task tracking and adherence to deadlines.
  • Helps the Business Director and Strategy Lead work on global media guidelines and media channel specific playbooks that are then distributed to the local markets.
  • Spends significant time in coordinating the markets for tasks relating to the scope or adhoc questions from CPW and NHS.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced in client facing communication & presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to tailor messages based on the audience.
  • Equal parts project manager and strategic thinker when it comes to problem solving and day-to-day task management.
  • Proven ability of working on a large media client in either a global, regional or local capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of media channels and the agency planning process.
  • Adept collaborator comfortable fostering relationships and working across all levels, both internally and with clients.
  • Data-driven and detail oriented, questioning wisdoms and suggesting new approaches as markets and channels evolve.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and breaking down complex problems into simple solutions.
  • Challenger of the status quo and a proactive change agent.
  • Proficient at designing and implementing efficient and effective ways of working, leveraging technology and automation where possible to work smarter, not harder.
