Role Summary and Impact

The Activation Executive is pivotal in ensuring the successful setup and ongoing management of campaigns. This role involves supporting a team of activation specialists in executing our commitment to clients. The Activation Executive gathers and provides crucial information for decision-making on performance and optimisations while acquiring essential digital knowledge. Reporting into an Activation Associate Director, the Activation Executive gains practical experience with various activation platforms within our solution portfolio. Collaborating with managers, Senior managers, associate directors, and offshore activation specialists, they strive to deliver top-tier campaigns and results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop campaign activation expertise through supporting end-to-end campaign management for clients.
  • Execute daily activation tasks to achieve client outcomes across all accounts managed by your team.
  • Support with campaign lifecycle, including setup, reporting, analysis, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
  • Deepen knowledge into the client’s business and KPIs to assist in implementation of test and learn plans.
  • Collaborate with our Planning teams to provide targeting recommendations and forecast availability for client briefs.
  • Handle multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Offer operational troubleshooting and technical support, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Expand your knowledge of the Media Solutions product suite and the role of data, AI, and analytics in enhancing campaign performance.
  • Stay abreast of programmatic landscape developments, industry trends, platforms, and technology partners.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Conduct daily in-flight performance checks to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Generate optimisation and performance reports as needed.
  • Utilise available dashboards to maximise campaign results.
  • Recommend optimisations to achieve campaign goals.
  • Support discrepancy investigation and resolution.
  • Understand the basics of margin, monetisation, and billing processes.
  • Aid in producing and delivering post-campaign analysis and reports.

Processes and Operational Efficiencies

  • Understand and implement best practices for quality, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Utilise existing automation tools effectively in campaigns.
  • Follow activation controls, best practices, and quality assurances.
  • Collaborate with the offshore team.
  • Maintain due diligence for operational tasks, including Salesforce and supplier reconciliation.
  • Engage with the activation community to refine processes as products and technology advance.
