We’re looking for a quick thinking, organised and versatile SEO Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day project for Honda Motor Company. You will be responsible for delivering best in class SEO/GEO solutions to our clients, managing multiple stakeholders as well as ensuring the best outputs, working alongside other members of the team.
Role specific:- Lead day to day account management of SEO/GEO activities across Honda Motor Company, owning delivery from brief through to implementation and performance reporting.
- Own the SEO/GEO roadmap for your account(s), translating business objectives into prioritised activities across technical, content, and authority.
- Manage day-to-day client and stakeholder communications, leading status calls, meeting notes, action tracking, and clear next steps.
- Lead monthly/quarterly planning and forecasting, aligning deliverables to campaign calendars, product launches, and wider media activity.
- Track, monitor and report performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console and third-party platforms; ensure KPI definitions, tagging requirements and reporting cadences are agreed and maintained.
- Identify opportunities and risks from data (rank/visibility trends, CTR, crawl/indexation, content performance) and turn them into clear recommendations and prioritised tests.
- Oversee technical SEO health across client sites (crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, canonicals, hreflang), raising tickets and tracking delivery with dev/IT teams.
- Support content strategy and on-page optimisation: keyword and intent research, briefing, metadata, internal linking, information architecture, and content refresh programmes.
- Deliver GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) best practice by advising on content formats, entity/structured data signals, and brand presence in AI-assisted search experiences, while monitoring changes in SERP/AI features.
- Quality assure SEO deliverables prior to client submission (audits, reports, recommendations, briefs), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment to brand and legal/compliance requirements.
- Oversee performance of all SEO/GEO activity and ensure learnings are incorporated into future plans; surface technical issues early and coordinate resolution across agency and client teams.
- Stay on top of platform updates (Google and other search engines) and wider industry trends, proactively sharing implications, opportunities and recommended actions with the team and the client.
- Partner with Planning and other channel teams (e.g., content, social, PR, paid search) to ensure SEO is aligned to the wider media strategy and integrated into campaign planning and measurement.
