Our Global CIO is leading a significant evolution of our Enterprise Technology capabilities, bringing together over 2,500 technology professionals into an integrated global team. This team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions. We are seeking a Head of Infrastructure and Operations for EMEA to lead our regional team, orchestrate critical transformations, and ensure our technological backbone is robust, secure, and ready for what’s next. This isn’t just about maintaining; it’s about building, optimizing, and empowering our business through world-class infrastructure.

What you will be doing:

• Managing the EMEA InfraOps team, promote collaboration, accountability, and performance
• Mentoring and coaching the team members providing career growth and roadmaps
• Aligning business priorities with TechOps leadership and deliver
• Coordinating all regional InfraOps projects with budget oversight including transformations, MA&D, cloud operations, network and all EoL infra upgrades
• Building relationships with key stakeholders, manage expectations, and meet needs efficiently
• Executing TechOps strategies aligned with regional requirements and global direction
• Ensuring efficient operation and availability of WPP EMEA InfraOps estate
• Managing regional operational infra change schedule with alignment to Global Infra Ops with co-ordination of regional user acceptance testing
• Collaborating with security teams to ensure remediation and compliance
• Maintaining and updating a record of regional infrastructure
• Implementing strategic plans focusing on security compliance, asset management, and technology efficiency
• Providing regular updates on projects, team performance, and initiatives
• Ensuring consistent Tech Ops infrastructure standards and practices across locations by working with regional and global teams
• Maintaining and driving constant communication with tech leaders, stakeholders, peers and team members to ensure requirements are met and expectations are managed

Who you will be working with: Working closely with the Director of Technology Operation (TechOps), EMEA and the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, plus peers in region and globally, lead a team of Infrastructure and Operations (InfraOps) professionals overseeing regional WPP infrastructure, cloud services, domain architecture, security, compliance, and network operations in EMEA. Requires expertise in network architecture, cloud services, storage services, and compliance.
