Key Responsibilities
- Primary day‑to‑day contact with the Client Marcom team.
- Collaborate with Producers, Print Production Managers, and Channel Sales Program Managers to originate and/or adapt channel campaigns across Europe.
- Act as the go‑to person for channel marketing asset localization and production.
- Develop a clear understanding of the client’s channel partner structure and print vendors.
- Own client service fundamentals: review scope of work, create and update timing plans, produce contact reports, and prepare cost estimates.
- Lead frequent internal and client status meetings, set and manage client expectations, and ensure agreed workflows are followed.
- Manage high‑priority projects and campaigns, overseeing cross‑functional teams to deliver key milestones on time and within budget.
- Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders to guarantee that projects are executed on brief, within budget, and on schedule.
- Flag scope changes to the line manager and resolve or escalate issues swiftly.
- Build successful relationships with internal teams (Studio, Print Production, Senior Account Management, Operations).
- Brief studio and print production teams, ensuring creative direction aligns with brand guidelines.
- Act as a brand QC guardian, enforcing brand guidelines, QC checklists, and procedures.
- Manage two project managers, set clear objectives, drive performance, and facilitate career development opportunities.
- Coordinate with the resourcing team, organise teamwork, create balanced work schedules, and ensure staff deliver results.
- Ensure the account consistently meets all contractual obligations, including SLAs and KPIs.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of WPP's business model, services, and technology.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with Ops to optimise structure, team, and processes.
Qualifications
- Solid agency experience working on global retail and/or shopper accounts, from creative development to final production.
- Localization experience is required.
- Experience managing new features, availability, and regulatory requirements across multiple markets for a global tech brand.
- Familiarity with channel distribution models, both production and delivery.
- Experience managing complicated copy blocks.
- Expertise in delivering projects by managing client expectations, internal processes, and department involvement.
- Previous experience in team management is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to write and present documents, presentations, and reports to large audiences.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Numbers.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and passion for the work.
- Hands‑on, can‑do approach to problem solving.
- Ability to prioritise and work quickly under tight timeframes.
- Clear thinking under pressure.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite full time in London for 3–4 weeks, up to three times per year (hybrid working the rest of the time).
