What does a Senior Account Director do at WPP Production?
This Senior Account Director role is a pivotal position in the dedicated account team for one of the world’s largest professional services firms. With a passion for production, global marketing and advertising and a desire to learn, you build trusting team, client and agency relationships. Every day is different, collaborating across multi-disciplined teams and drawing on the expertise of WPP Production’s global capabilities to deliver innovative and impactful work. This role is a key point person for the wider account team and key clients, accountable for delivering complex creative and production projects, flawlessly executed, efficiently on time, always on specification and in budget. A trusted Client and agency partner, brand guardian and font of all knowledge on the process, you will intimately understand the client’s business needs, are always one step ahead, resolving issues proactively and constantly seeking to find better ways of doing things. This role is instrumental in delivering organic and strategic growth and ensuring the team is motivated and empowered to deliver the best work brilliantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Own senior client stakeholder relationships and drive cross-WPP connectivity
- Deliver complex brand initiatives end to end from creative conception through to production
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure best practice across client operations
- Lead innovation initiatives and role model AI-enabled workflows, collaborating in WPP Open
- Manage client commercial structures including forecasts, SOWs and profitability tracking
- Develop and mentor the wider team including direct reports
Requirements
- Significant experience in account leadership, client services or integrated production within an agency or marketing role
- Proven ability to build trusted senior client relationships across complex stakeholder groups
- Experience leading large-scale, integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, video and content production
- Demonstrated success managing global and multi-market accounts in fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills, confidence leading senior client discussions
